PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a continuous ink jet printer for printing on a roll sheet by heating ink that vapor blown out from a head adheres to a cold roller when the head is left on the roll sheet at the time of waiting print and dews are formed to cause cutting of the roll sheet at the time reprinting. SOLUTION: In order to eliminate dew formation completely when wet warm air blows against a cold roller, means for preventing vapor causing dew formation from beating directly against the roller is provided.
