In a cutter assembly, adapted for rotating about an upright axis passing centrally through the assembly, and including a cutter body having at least one flat blade mounting section extending inwardly from a peripheral location of said body, containing a mounting hole and having upper and lower surfaces, and a blade extending out wardly beyond the peripheral location and being secured to said cutter body by a bo lt extending through the blade and said mounting hole and having a nut screwed thereon, t he improvement comprising: a shield having a bore aligned with said mounting ho le and formed in upper and lower portions respectively engaging said upper and lower surfa ces of said mounting section of said cutter body; and said upper portion of said shield including a cylindrical cavity receiving said nut. |
