PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate with good appearance which forms a prescribed available area by applying it to a desk or the like so that a comfortable personal computer operation can be performed. SOLUTION: The top plate 2 comprises at least a first top plate element 2A having on one side edge 2Ad an inclined side 2A1 inclined from a using edge 2Aa toward an opposite edge 2Ab thereto and a second top plate element 2B arranged by joining one side edge 2Bd to or making it come near to the inclined side 2A1. A curved using area 2S is formed by both the top plate elements 2A and 2B.
