MEASURE OF MOUTH USED BEFORE TAKING IMPRESSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measure of mouth for avoiding the replacement of impression trays because of disagreement of size in inserting an impression tray into the oval cavity of a patient. SOLUTION: At both ends of a supportive structure which opens wide, such as U-shaped board spring or forceps, a pair of angler pressers are formed at the same level as the impression tray. A ruler is set on the presser or the supportive structure and is used as the measure of mouth before taking impressions.
