<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tile cutter which can be easily operated and can be inexpensively manufactured. SOLUTION: A supporting rail 1 with a supporting projection 7 on a straight line in the longer direction and with a crosssectional face of a reverse T-shape, a front fixing support 2 fitted at the front end of the supporting rail 1 and with a tile contacting part 11 in the direction intersecting at right angles to the supporting rail 1, a back fixing support 3 fitted on the back end of the supporting rail 1, a guide rail 5 provided on the top ends of the front and back fixing supports 2 and 3 and in parallel to the supporting rail 1, a scale 4 for measuring the tile cutting dimension with a tile receiving part 38 whose top face 38a coincides with the same face as the top part 9 of the above described supporting projection 7 and being freely slidably fitted in the direction intersecting at right angles along the supporting rail 1 and a tile cutting operating body 6 with an operational lever 46 on its top and a tile pressing leg 47 and a circular cutting blade 48 on its bottom and being freely slidably fitted along a guide rail 5, are provided.</p> |
