PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a tire capable of improving lateral rigidity of the tire and improving a steering stabilizing performance by holding high productivity in a simple work and the tire. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the tire comprises the steps of forming an annular laminate by spirally winding and laminating a ribbon of a thin gage of an unvulcanized rubber containing short fibers at a position corresponding to a side face region from a bead to a sidewall between an enclosure rubber and an inner liner rubber of the tire to mold the unvulcanized tire, and forming the annular laminate as a reinforcing layer. The tire is obtained by vulcanizing the unvulcanized tire molded by using the manufacturing method. |
