WATER-PROOF COVER FOR DOOR OF AUTOMOBILE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a water-proof cover interposed between an inner panel and a door trim of a door for an automobile. SOLUTION: This water-proof cover is constituted by a first water-proof film made of a soft resin material and a second water-proof film made of the soft resin material fitted to an opening provided in the inner panel of the door for covering an outside portion of a speaker. The second water-proof film is molded into a shape suitable for covering the outside portion of the speaker by a female form having a cup-like or dish-like recessed part and a male form having a projecting part capable of entering the recessed part, and then a flange part thereof is superposed on the peripheral edge part of a speaker insert through hole provided in the first water-proof film and hot-welded by a heating means provided on the both female and male forms.
