PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type seat for vehicle allowing the use and housing of a seat without breaking the housing mechanism for the seat with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This storage type seat 10 set in a vehicle comprises a seat part 13 rotatable between a housing position substantially vertical to the floor surface of the vehicle and a using position substantially parallel thereto, an electric reclining device 50 for rotating the seat part 13 from the using position to the housing position, and an electric latch 60 for engagingly locking the seat part 13 in the housing position. After the seat part 13 is laid in an using state allowing the movement to the using position, the electric latch 50 release the locking of the seat part 13.
