PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blank drawing apparatus in a heading machine which can excellently draw a blank from a die while heading the blank with both ends thereof formed pointed or rounded. SOLUTION: In the blank drawing apparatus 30 in the heading machine which draws the black 1a with both ends thereof formed pointed or rounded from the die 21, a moving body 31 movable in the lateral direction below a forward portion of the die 21, a sliding body 32 which slides in the forward/ backward direction and an elevating/lowering body 33 which is elevated/lowered in the vertical direction are provided on the moving body 31, and the sliding body 33 is provided with a fixed jaw 34 and a holding claw 35 which forms a pair with the fixed jaw 34 and holds and opens the blank 1a by the elevating/ lowering of the elevating/lowering body 33.
