PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently prevent the separation of the dusts collected in the portion covering the edges of the wiping cloth which covers the wiping surface of a base body and holds the edges such that it covers them as folded, thereby improving the efficiency of wiping. SOLUTION: Two linear compressed concave lines 16 for positioning are provided in parallel to the longer sides of the nonwoven wiping cloth 10. Two sets of rows of cuts 18 made of V-shaped cuts 18a are provided such that the folding points of the V-shaped cuts 18a or the axial lines of symmetry are positioned on the compressed concave lines.
