摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plants exhibiting no livestock toxicity due to mycobiont infected thereon and having high resistance to insects as well. SOLUTION: The subject mycobiont consists of a kind of filamentous fungus belonging to the genus Neotyphodium. The above-mentioned plants are produced by artificially transferring filamentous fungi the final metabolite of which is chanoclavine into the original plants to infect them with the fungi symbiotically.
