PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise qualities of a silage by packing a grain part of crop for whole crop silage in a crushed state into a roll baler and forming the roll baler in a whole crop harvester. SOLUTION: In this whole crop harvester equipped with a reaping/ transporting apparatus A for reaping crops for a whole crop silage in a field at plant feet and transporting stem culms R for whole crop silage to the obliquely left upward rear of a machine body 1 and a stem culm centrally drawing apparatus B1 for continuing the transportation by the reaping/transporting apparatus A, transporting the stem culms R for whole crop silage to the obliquely right rear of the machine body 1 and centrally drawing the stem culms, a pair of vertical crushing rollers 33 and 34 having shaft centers in the direction perpendicular to the transportation direction are installed in the middle of the transportation route of the stem culm centrally drawing apparatus B1.
