PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemeoxygenase-1 gene mutant expressing an effect of stabilizing a mastocyte without reducing intracellular heme pool. SOLUTION: This hemeoxygenase-1 gene mutant encodes hemeoxygenase-1 mutant protein modified by replacing the 25th amino acid from the N-terminal of hemeoxygenase-1 with an amino acid selected from the group consisting of aliphatic amino acids, branched amino acids, hydroxyamino acids, acidic amino acids, amide-type amino acids and basic amino acids. The gene mutant exhibits an excellent degranulation stabilising action without affecting the intracellular pool by introducing into a mastocyte, and is useful as an agent for stabilizing a mastocyte and antiallergic agent. |
