PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a prescribed electric voltage can not be applied between electrodes by a conventional termite control method comprising applying electric voltage pulses between the electrodes, because the capacitance between the electrodes stores the electric charge. SOLUTION: This insect pest-repelling device for applying a prescribed electric voltage to give electric shocks to termites and thus electrically repel the termites, characterized by replacing alternating pulses as pulses applied between the electrodes.
