PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the change-over of the signals from a plurality of electronic endoscope equipment. SOLUTION: First and second electronic endoscope equipment 10 and 50 have first and second processors 20 and 60, respectively. Both processors 20 and 60, a common monitor 152 and an external recorder 154 are connected to a change-over device 100. The first processor 20 outputs a first video signal RGBS1 to the change-over device 100 only when an electronic scope 14 provided with an image sensor 12 is connected to it. The second processor operates the same way. The change-over device 100 detects synchronous signals included in input video signals RGBS1 and RGBS2 and outputs one of those video signals to the monitor 152 and the external recorder 154.
