PURPOSE:To provide the transparent film having uniform double refractive indices within the same plane and has enhanced transparency. CONSTITUTION:This film consists essentially of amorphous arom. polyester and has 0.0001 to 0.1 double refractive indices and <=10% fluctuation in the double refractive indices within the same plane. The film is obtd. by unaxially stretching the amorphous arom. polyester at 1.05 to 5.00 times stretching magnification at 10 to 1000%/min stretching rate in a temp. range of Tg to temp. higher by 60 deg.C than Tg of this polyester. |
