The invention discloses a recombinant adeno-associated virus (AAV) which contains the growth hormone gene and the method for using it to give the swine intramuscular injection in order to accelerate the swine's growth. The recombinant AAV introduces the growth hormone gene into the swine's muscle cell so that the expressing GH protein will be secreted into the swine's humor, thus the animal's growth could be promoted. |
