The invention concerns a method for modelling an information system, in particular for evaluating performance and monitoring quality of service, comprising an object-oriented modelling of this information system, each element of the information system being represented by an Instance, and data associated with these elements. It consists in cancelling the correlation between the data sources and the Instances concerned by these data. The objects processed and generated are stored in an object database, accessible for future reference.
