PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in the conventional method of bonding sheet materials, the electric bond was imperfect or projections and recesses on the surface of a joint. SOLUTION: Sheet materials 1, 1, each having a conductive mesh 2 as an electromagnetic shield material, conductive pieces 2t at one end A which are electrically connected to the mesh and project each from one end A and having recesses 4 electrically connected to the mesh at the other end B, are butted, the conductive pieces 2t at one end A of one sheet material 1A are housed in the recesses 4 at the other end B of the other sheet material 1B and electrically bonded to the conductive mesh 2 of the other sheet material 1B, thereby absorbing projections and recesses on the surface side in a joint 1j of the sheet materials.
