PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer for providing a large output by suppressing heat generation. SOLUTION: A material whose piezoelectric constant (d) is larger than that of sheets 24 and 26 of an output part 20 is used for sheets 14 and 16 of an input part 10. An efficient mechanical vibration is provided on an input side while the mechanical vibration is efficiently converted into electric signal on an output side. With less loss, heat generation is reduced to provide a piezoelectric transformer of large output.
