PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor to detect a black line from an inputted image and perform a high band enhancement processing and a noise reduction processing by switching them by every pixel to enhance discriminating ability of a catheter, etc. SOLUTION: This black line enhancement/non-black line area noise reduction system (10) is provided with a black line detection sensitivity adjusting part (11) to set a threshold of black line detection sensitivity, a black line detecting part (13) to detect existence of the black line and its direction in a small area from the maximum value among plural values of product-sum operation and the threshold between plural spatial filter coefficient tables for black line detection and pixel values in the small area of the inputted image (12), a spatial filter (14) for high band enhancement to perform a black line enhancement processing to the inputted image (12), a spatial filter (15) for noise reduction to perform the noise reduction processing to the inputted image (12) and a spatial filter switching device (16) to output image data processed by the spatial filter (14) for high band emphasis in the pixels in which the black line is detected and to output image data processed by the spatial filter (15) for noise reduction in other pixels. |
