PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily use an automatic gain control circuit for the radio parts of various radio communication systems whose occupied bandwidth differ from each other. SOLUTION: The automatic gain control circuit used in the radio part in the radio communication system sending a signal received by the radio part to a control part via a transmission line is provided with a storage means storing a comparison signal corresponding to the types of the radio communication systems, a control means reading the comparison signal corresponding to the types of the radio communication systems, which is instructed by the control part from the storage means, and controlling and outputting the comparison signal which is read based on the instruction of gain change control from the control part and a means generating a gain control signal controlling the level of the signal that the read part receives to be constant in accordance with the result of the comparison of the signal that the radio part receives with the comparison signal outputted from the control means.
