<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency hopping function adding device that can easily add a frequency hopping function to AM radio equipment and to provide the AM radio equipment. SOLUTION: The AM radio equipment of this invention is provided with a frequency hopping function adding device 27 that receives a hopping control signal to discriminate whether or not the hopping is required, and provides an output of a frequency switching signal to decide the switching frequency and an output of a frequency switching control signal to provide the timing of the switching when the discrimination indicates the necessity of hopping. In the AM radio equipment, switches SWs 25, 26 select the frequency switching signal and the frequency switching control signal outputted from a controller 21 or the frequency hopping function adding device 27 depending on the necessity of the hopping and a frequency signal generator 22, a reception section 23 and a transmission section 24 are operated depending on the selected signals.</p> |
