PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the education between remote places, to keep the contents mastered by persons receiving the education recorded as data and to rapidly easily provide necessary organizations with the data. SOLUTION: The distance education system which is constituted by interconnecting lecture side terminal machines and teaching side terminal machines and a host computer of the center by utilizing communication circuits, facilitates the education or learning in a remote state in accordance with the teaching material data and learner data stored in the memory section of the host computer, keeps the contents acquired by the learners recorded as the data and allows the presentation thereof at need is provided.
