PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional position retrieval/acquisition system that cannot establish an initial connection when a calculation error is too large in the case that a retrieval terminal tries to make communications with a terminal to be retrieved from a calculation point to absorb the calculation error and uses a directivity antenna or the like to trace and catch the terminal to be retrieves through the communication connection in the conventional position retrieval/acquisition system that utilizes a mobile communication system where the position of the terminal to be retrieved provided to a body to be retrieved is calculated by using a cell structure or the like and the position is retrieved/acquired. SOLUTION: A retrieval side uses the mobile communication system to allow the terminal to be retrieved to start its transmission through a wireless channel selected by the retrieval side (or a specific wireless channel), informs the retrieval terminal about the wireless channel by means of the communication system and allows an omnidirectional retrieval terminal tuned to the channel to move and scan the surrounding of the calculation point until the terminal is connected to the terminal to be retrieved. When the retrieval terminal is connected to the terminal to be retrieved, the retrieval side allows the retrieval terminal to use a direction antenna and to trace and catch the terminal to be retrieved.
