PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading device capable of making it difficult to alter or forge data, and improving a data protecting function, and realizing miniaturization, and shortening a money converting time. SOLUTION: This reading device is provided with a housing part 12 capable of housing plural gifts 11 whose top end parts are respectively equipped with a tag part 111 capable of performing the communication of information including ID information, adjustment sum information, and security information in a non-contact state, plural gift sensors 13-1-13-5 arranged corresponding to each housing position of the gifts 11 of the housing part 12 for outputting detection signals when the gifts 11 are housed at the corresponding housing positions, plural reading parts 14-1-14-5 arranged corresponding to each hosing position of the housing part 12 for reading the information of the tag parts 111 by communicating with the tag parts 111 of the gifts 11 housed at the corresponding housing positions at the time of receiving a driving power, and reading controlling parts 16 and 17 for allowing the reading parts arranged corresponding to the housing positions to receive the driving power, and to read the information at the time of receiving the detection signals from the gift sensors 13-1-13-5. |
