PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FIR filter which can reduce power consumption. SOLUTION: This FIR filter has data register circuits 10, arranged as many as an oversampling number at an input signal hold part 1, a data shift control part 31 selects one of data register circuits 10 arranged in parallel in the order at each timing point to hold and shift input signal data, and an input signal selection part 4 inputs the input signal data shifted and outputted from the data register circuits arranged in parallel at each sample timing point in the order in matching with the timing of the shifting by the data register circuits 10 under the control of a data selection control part 32 and taps and outputs the data to a product sum arithmetic part 2. Consequently, the operation rate of the data register circuit 10 can be decreased.
