PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary band-pass IIR type digital filter of simple constitution, having satisfactory precision and a reference signal canceling device, which uses the digital filter. SOLUTION: When the secondary band-pass IIR type digital filter is set to have its sampling frequency set 6 times as high as the center frequency of the passing band and (n) is 3 or an odd number larger than or equal to 3, the primary input feedback coefficient b1 is set equal to -1+2-n and the secondary input feedback coefficient b2 is set equal to 1-2-(n-1).
