PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system for a PLC for realizing the quickening of an operation and the improvement of communication quality by more efficiently operating PLC communication, and to provide a communication method between the PLC and a display. SOLUTION: This display system for a PLC is provided with a PLC, a first display connected through a PLC communication bus to the PLC, and plural second displays multi-drop connected through an inter-display bus to the first display. In this display system for the PLC and a data communication method between the PLC and the display, data are directly transmitted and received through the PLC communication bus between the first display and the PLC, and data are indirectly transferred and received through the PLC communication bus and the inter-display bus between the second displays and the PLC with the first display interposed.
