PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a single phase SRM(switched reluctance motor) to make a high speed and high efficiency operation, minimize an element switching frequency for the single phase SRM drive and stably driving the motor by preventing abnormal parking, by constituting a start sensor and a drive sensor separately, and its method. SOLUTION: In a single phase SRM drive until and its method, the drive unit is constituted of a filter circuit which filters input power supply, a motor drive which supplies voltage to the motor by a control signal inputting voltage filtered by the filters circuit, a plurality of sensors which detect rotating speed and phase of the motor, and a microcomputer which outputs a control signal to control the motor drive by selectively inputting one of the signals detected by the plurality of sensors. |
