PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery, that has a high sealing capacity at a normal state and is capable of preventing swelling and burst at an abnormal state, such as overcharging or over-discharging, etc., as well as reducing the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The sealed battery comprises a battery body 20, having a positive electrode 25 and a negative electrode 23 laminated via electrolyte layer 22, a pair of terminals connected with the positive electrode 25 and a negative electrode 23 respectively, and a package 34 for the sealed battery which seals airtight the battery body 20 so that the open edge portions 26A, 27A are exposed outside. An adhesion portion 40 of the sealed battery package 34 is provided with an explosion proof portion 42 which is adhered at a specified area by an adhesive resin containing a lithium salt compound. The adhesion portion 40, adhered with the adhesive resin contained lithium compound, is capable of separation, when the internal pressure of the sealed battery package has reached a prescribed value or higher. |
