PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment capable of making programs for reading processing common even when a keyboard is mounted other than the existing key switch. SOLUTION: When an interruption signal is outputted from a UART LSI (S1), whether or not input of keyboard itself is valid is judged (S2; YES), when it is valid (S2; YES), data is grasped by analyzing transmitted information (S3, S4). And when a key code as data of a key is valid (S5; YES), the key code is stored in a key buffer as a common storage area with a key code corresponding to a key of a panel (S6).
