PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clasp for a flag pole which allows the sure anchoring of flag cloth to a prescribed position of the flag pole. SOLUTION: The clasp of the large-sized banner, which is formed with a cylindrical pole bag 12 along one side edge of the longitudinally long flag cloth 13 and anchors the bottom end of the flag cloth 13 by inserting the flag pole 11 formed to a long size into this pole bag 12, consists of a fixing ring 15 which is formed by curving an elastic belt-like body to an arcuate shape and butting its front ends against each other and fastening the same to the prescribed point of the flag pole by its elastic force, a turning member 16 which is formed with a groove part by notching a central part exclusive of both ends to the cylindrical outer peripheral surface formed to be freely turnably inserted onto the flag pole at an inner diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the cylindrical body of the fixing ring 15, and an engaging ring 17 which is formed by curving the elastic belt-like body of the width engaging the groove part of the turning member 16 to the arcuate shape. The fixing ring 15 is fitted and fixed to the arbitrary position of the flag pole 11 and the turning member 16 is freely turnably inserted into the lower position of the fixing ring 15. The engaging member 17 is fitted into the groove part of the turning member from outside the pole bag, by which the pole bag is held between the turning member 16 and the engaging member 17.
