PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that, when the user of a portable telephone set locks or unlocks a key through special key operation, the user makes misoperation or forgets locking of the key or the operability of the telephone drops and another trouble that, when the user inhibits communication with the telephone every day in the same time zone by turning off the power source of the telephone in a commuter train, etc., the user forgets necessary setting or cancellation due to the troublesome operation. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set prevents misoperation by setting key locking time or time zone after a flip is closed by utilizing a timer or a time counting function. Similarly, the equipment automatically inhibits incoming calls when a set incoming call inhibiting time zone comes.
