PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy detection method for mismatching of communication attribute for PVC channel which is set semi-fixedly in ATM networks. SOLUTION: Two nodes 'ATM switching system 10a and 10b' where are located in adjacency on the same virtual connection 20 exchange communication attribute data Aa and Ab, which are recognizable and common in each node, and check up matching of communication attribute A1 and A2 in each node. The result of checking is informed to maintenance terminal 1.
