PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dictionary registration system capable of making the priority in the case of displaying converted candidates a priority convenient for a user at the time point of registering a new register word. SOLUTION: When registering the new register word, this dictionary registration system displays a user dictionary registration screen. On the user dictionary registration screen, a reading input field 11, a description input field 13, part-of- speech setting fields 15-17 and flag setting fields 17a-17c or the like are displayed. When it is desired to lower the priority of the new register word in the converted candidates, the user arbitrarily sets a flag while utilizing the flag setting fields 17a-17c. As a result, the information of lowering of priority is stored in a dictionary for registration. Therefore, a KANA/KANJI converting system can display the converting candidates according to the priority intended by the user at the time of registration. |
