PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination waiting time prediction system in which a user can grasp the predicted value of an examination waiting situation of an external medical institution by a user terminal. SOLUTION: The medical institution 1 transmits examination waiting information to a center system 8 through a public communication network 12 every fixed time. The system 8 stores the examination waiting information in a database 9. The user 2 inputs a retrieval condition by the user terminal 11 and transmits the retrieval condition to the system 8 through the network 12. The system 8 prepares a predicted value derivation expression from data retrieved from the database 9, and optimizes the weighting of the derivation expression to calculate a predicted value. The system 8 transmits the results of the predicted value to the terminal 11, and the user 2 can recognize the predicted value from contents displayed on the terminal 11.
