摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor layer with a uniformed form and size of a pillar-like crystal and a manufacturing method for the same. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a phosphor layer 7 formed on a substrate 6 comprising a scintillator crystal is constituted of the following processes: a process for a base pattern formation to make a pattern in a way that plural numbers of a base portion 7a composed of the scintillator crystal on the substrate 6, are positioned separate from each other, and a process for growing crystal to get the phosphor layer 7 composed of the base portion 7a and a pillar-like portion 7b after forming the pillar-like portion 7b on the base portion 7a by growing the same kind of the scintillator crystal as the one on the base portion 7a. In this case, the scintillator crystal grows collectively on the base portion 7a to form the pillar-like portion 7b with the uniform shape and size, and when a radiation beam is irradiated into the phosphor layer 7, a phosphor light generated in the base portion 7a and the pillar-like portion 7b is trapped within and transmitted through almost without being dispersed outside.
