PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit resonance of a high-frequency current-inhibiting AC filter without use of a resonance-inhibiting dumping resistor. SOLUTION: A power converter unit, consisting of the AC filter 2 composed of at least one combination among a reactor, a condenser and a resistor and a power-converter circuit 3 that is connected to an AC power source 1 through the AC filter 2 and converts an AC power to a DC power, comprises a voltage- reference computing means 5 that computes and outputs a voltage reference equivalent to a voltage be outputted by a power-converter unit body, a current- detecting means 4 that detects and outputs a current flowing through a predetermined section between the AC power source 1 and the power-converter circuit 3, and a voltage-reference correcting means 8 that correct the voltage reference, i.e., an output from the voltage-reference computing means 5 with a voltage- reference correcting signal, i.e., an out put from the voltage-reference detecting means 4.
