PURPOSE: To obtain an excitometabolism composition for fat capable of consuming a larger amount of fat with the same exercise test (intensity and time) by ingesting the composition before exercise and food and drink containing the same. CONSTITUTION: This excitometabolism composition for fat is obtained by bringing the composition to contain a garcinia extract and caffeine. Food and drink capable of effectively promoting consumption of fat are obtained by adding the aforesaid composition to the food and drink. In the aforesaid food and drink it is preferable to contain 250-3,000 mg of the garcinia extract expressed in terms of hydroxycitric acid and 50-200 mg of caffeine per one meal.
