PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device with a simple configuration that can attain accurate authentication. SOLUTION: A terminal reception processing section 2 acquires information including a dial number such as a telephone number sent from a mobile terminal and a terminal number as a telephone number of the mobile terminal itself among wireless signals received by a terminal signal reception antenna 1. A dial number detection section 4 detects the dial number sent from the mobile terminal obtained from the information acquired by the terminal reception processing section 2 and discriminates whether or not the dial number is coincident with a prescribed number stored in advance by the setting. When discriminating the coincident number, the dial number detection section 4 instructs an authentication control section 6 to start the authentication. Furthermore, a terminal number read section 5 reads the terminal number of the mobile terminal itself from the information acquired by the terminal reception processing section 2. The authentication control section 6 discriminates whether or not the terminal number read by the terminal number read section 5 is registered in a terminal number registration section 6a and performs prescribed authentication permission processing when the discrimination indicates the fact of registration.
