PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interpolation device capable of varying interpolation characteristics with simple structure. SOLUTION: An address generator 1 generates an address. An address converter 2 converts the address generated by the address generator 1 according to an image quality setting signal and supplies the result to a coefficient storage part 3. The coefficient storage part 3 stored plural interpolation coefficients forming a prescribed interpolation function and generates plural interpolation coefficients in the plural interpolation coefficients according to the inputted address. A digital filter 4 outputs an inputted video signal by performing interpolation calculation using plural inputted interpolation coefficients from the coefficient storage part 3. |
