PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unifiedly perform the maintenance/management for every production company or machine type of a device by setting a device identifier composed of multi-vender information, security information, device information such as machine type and production number and fault rate counter or the like to the device itself, counting up the fault rate counter when exchanging a substrate or the like and applying the device identifier when transmitting data to a center concerning a device identifying device for identifying the device by applying the device identifier to the relevant device, a managing device for managing the relevant device on the basis of data received from the device through a network and a recording medium. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a means for setting the device identifier composed of the device information containing production source information, machine type and production number or the like at least to the device, a means for saving the set device identifier in the other place of the relevant device, and a means for updating the set device identifier into new device identifier or saved device identifier on the basis of the state of the device when the set device identifier is different from the saved device identifier. |
