METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DATA TRANSMISSION IN UNRELIABLE NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for transmitting data while effectively using the limited bandwidth even if some data are lost in an unreliable network of limited band. SOLUTION: This data stream includes expected encoding frames and internal encoding frames. When a frame is lost during the data transmission, the client notifies the data loss to the server upon properly receiving the following packet. Then, the server skips all expected encoding frames in the current expected encoding frame sequence and restarts transmission from the following internal encoding frame. Favorably, all packets are numbered in consecutive order, and the messages from the client includes the number of the latest packet. The server can ignore client messages if the request for omitting the expected encoding frames from the client has already been executed.
