PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin flexible heater which is equipped with a pair of electrodes and a surface exothermic body whose one end is connected to an electrode of one side and the other end is connected to an electrode of the other side and which exists extendedly between electrodes, and in which the width of the thin exothermic body orthogonal in the extended direction is different depending on the position of the extending direction, and in which the temperature unevenness of the thin exothermic body to the extending direction is suppressed. SOLUTION: This is a thin and flexible heater which is equipped with a pair of electrodes, and a thin exothermic body whose one end is connected to an electrode of one side and the other end is connected to an electrode of the other side and which exists extendedly between electrodes, and in which a width of the exothermic body orthogonal in the extended direction is different depending on the position of the extended direction, and a resistance per unit area of the exothermic body decreases and increases according to the increase and decrease of the position in the extending direction of a width which is orthogonal to the extending direction of the exothermic body.
