The invention concerns a device comprising: a boom (5) bearing a pulley at its ends (40) whereof the axis is substantially in the extension of the boom; a cable (18) wound on the pulley, whereof the distal end is secured to said pulley and whereto is fixed the camera or microphone; a linking component (15) articulated on the boom and whereto is fixed the proximal end of the cable, the geometrical shape delimited by the point fixing the cable on the linking component, the hinge pin of said component on the boom, the pivot pin of the pulley and the winding point of the cable on the pulley forming a quadrilateral, so that by moving the boom and/or winding/unwinding the cable, the camera or microphone is displaced and oriented at will. Such a device enables to produce relatively complex movements in space, unlike those existing in prior art.
