The fixing comprises two parts the first forming a cover and a spacer (1) and the second a base plate (2). The cover consists of a rectangular plate (3) with reinforcing ribs (4) on its upper surface and a central cylindrical large diameter passage (5). Four fusible pegs (7) are regularly distributed around the cover and extend from the spacer in the opposite direction to the cover. Each peg is terminated by a widened cylindrical head (8) which fits into an oblong slot (10) in the base plate. The base also has a small diameter hole (9). When the base is placed against the spacer the base small hole is coaxial with the spacer large diameter hole.
