PURPOSE: A method for embodying portable phone bell sounds is provided to display an animal image dependent on a bell sound on the output window of a portable phone by inputting animal cries and associated animal data. CONSTITUTION: A method for embodying portable phone bell sounds consists of a sound source part, a signal converter, a memory, a key input part, a control part, and an interface. A user inputs an external sound source to the sound source part in order to use it as a portable phone bell sound. The signal converter converts the external sound source inputted to the sound source part into the data of a format to be used as a portable phone bell sound. The memory stores the external sound source data output from the converter or previously provided internal sound source data. The user selects desired sound source data among the sound source data stored in the memory through the key input part. The control part grants an address to the external sound source data inputted from the signal converter and stores the data in the memory. Also the control part fetches the selected sound source data from the memory. The interface outputs the sound source data fetched by the control part through the portable phone.
