PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable conversation assistance device which is compact, is easy to handle and lends itself to multiple purposes. SOLUTION: This device consists of a main body 1, which has a housing section 11 for rewritably accepting a memory card 21, an input/output port 12 for connecting an external computer, a microphone 13 for speech input, a circuit board 14 inputted with plural sets of combinations of sentences and marks associated to the meanings thereof according to the purposes of use through the computer and used to record the information inputted by speeches from the microphone 13 in correspondence to each of these combinations and to reproduce the recorded information, a liquid crystal display section 15 for displaying the reproduced information, and selection buttons 19 disposed to correspond to each one of the respective combinations displayed on the liquid crystal display section 15, and an opening/closing cap 2 for the same. The device is formed to a size so as to be put on the palm of a man. When a user pushes the selection buttons 19 corresponding to the marks indicating the contents of the transmission of the desired intentions, the sentences corresponding thereto are displayed on the liquid crystal display section 15 and the speeches are outputted. |
