PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program transplantation supporting device capable of efficiently preparing a conversion rule while easily grasping the action of the conversion rule and executing efficient transplantation work. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a rewriting position analysis means for analyzing a position requiring rewriting in a transplantation source program from a difference of libraries between the transplantation source program and a transplanted program and displaying the analyzed result on a display screen of a display device, a specific position display means for displaying the transplantation source program of a specific position selected by a user on the basis of the displayed analysis result on the same display screen, a means for inputting or selecting a conversion rule to be applied to the transplantation source program of the displayed specific position on the same display screen, a conversion rule edition means for editing the inputted or selected conversion rule, and a conversion rule application means for converting the transplantation source program by applying the edited conversion rule and displaying the converted program and the unconverted program on the same display screen so as to allow the conversion position to correspond to both the programs.
